Special assembly on the topic -'Freedom'
The struggle for independence is an important milestone in our country’s history. It not only brought us freedom but also gave our countrymen a great sense of pride. The numerous brave hearts who gave their lives on the border, as it were for their motherland, are all role models for the generations to follow.
The special assembly presented by 8A1, therefore, aimed at recalling the unbroken spirits and determination of some of the greatest leaders who led our nation to independence, to ignite... an admiration among our little ones.

The assembly began by chanting of the 'Gayatri Mantra' followed by the news headlines and the thought for the day. . It was followed by pageant of students, dressed up as leaders such as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Lal Bahadur Shastri. By turn they climbed up to the stage and introduced themselves and shared a few of their achievements.
It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the freedom fighters and their spirit to free the country from the British rule.
Nipun Bansal presented a patriotic song 'Ae mere watan' using the synthesizer.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
