British Council : Activity Theme: Tribal Artistry Activity: Quiz Competition An Inter House Quiz Competition was organised for the students of Classes 6th to 8th as a part of ISA activity under the theme 'Tribal Artistry' on April 27, 2019 in a special assembly. The quiz was based on the survey done by the students done in the first activity on April 22, 2019. The quiz commenced with the introduction of contestants of all the houses. The quiz master Aditya Singh briefed ...  the rules and regulations. The students enthusiasticly participated in all the three rounds- Objective, Descriptive round, Buzzer round. A wide range of questions were asked to which participants replied confidently. The final scores and the result was declared by the Principal of the School, Ms Bindu Gupta. The first position was bagged by Kalpana Chawla house and second position was secured by Ramanujan house. Abdul Kalam house remained at the third place followed by Mother Teresa house.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD THEME: TRIBAL ARTISTRY TOPIC: TRIBAL DANCES OF AUSTRALIA AND INDIA The Month of April has witnessed the whole school immersed in the cultural bonanza of Tribal Artistry Of India and Australia . AS a part of the ISA Project under the aegis of the British Council, the students from classes sixth to eighth showcased the tribal dances of both the countries in a special assembly . A student of class 7th shared the real miracle of aboriginal dances ...  and their ceremonial importance. Students performed scintillating primitive dance forms. They wore black dresses and tribal headgears to give a real effect of the conventional rhythm. The Australian indigenous dance was an imitation of a particular animal in the process of telling a story whereas Naga Tribal dance was performed onstage . RPS International School had an energetic, positive and vibrant morning on May 7,2019 when Mr. Manish Rao, CEO, RPS Group of Schools paid a special visit to congratulate students for their splendid performance in AISSE-2019. The meritorious students were called on stage where Mr. Manish Rao urged them to share their success mantra with other students. In his motivational address, he shared with the students, the exemplary results of other RPS Branches and urged them to strive for even better scores. The students began their day with a strong resolve to put in their best in all endeavours. Chocolates were distributed among the students to celebrate the Board Results.

Mother’s Day Celebration

A mother is everyone’s best friend because she takes care of everything we need. So, to say her thanks and give her respect, a day of the year has been dedicated to the mother and celebrated as Mother’s day every year. We cannot live without our mothers and her caring love. She cares us so much, she becomes happy when we laugh and she becomes sad when we weep. She is the only one in this world who never leaves us alone. RPS Sector-50 celebrated Mother’s Day to honour the mother of the family, as well as motherhood and maternal bonds . The event was graced by Our Respected Chairperson, Mrs. Pavitra Rao. The day started with special prayer for mother's followed by special song dedicated to loving mothers. The captivating dance of pre primary & primary classes left everyone in a great amazement. Whole school immersed in the festive look of PARENT TEACHER MEET for Montessori and Primary sections on May18 2019 at RPS International School ,Sector 50.The hustle and bustle began with movement of enthusiastic Parents with their wards stepping inside campus to visit their respective class teachers . The main purpose of meet was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of children. Parents were informed about the summer camp and also handed over Holidays Homework. Principal of the school Ms Bindu Gupta and Headmistress Ms Nikita also met parents to get their valuable feedback and assured all out efforts for shaping the personality of their wards at RPS.
